The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) is part of the Innerarity Island Homeowners Association. The ACC is committed to keeping the community a beautiful, unique, environmentally friendly and aesthetically pleasing residential treasure.
To maintain our community for today and tomorrow the ACC provides new home construction and existing home improvement guidance and rules to assure the island stays environmentally healthy and that our property standards continue to meet our neighbors' expectations of a private community.
Please take the time to review the construction rules found in the below library of documents.
The ACC is made up of fellow island residents that volunteer their time and are committed to keeping our community at the highest livability standards possible without the over the top rules of many other private HOA regulated communities. In addition to aesthetics, many of the ACC rules are related to the environmental impact of construction that can have many adverse impacts beyond the specific lot being built upon. The ACC takes into account the historical trees, rain drainage concerns that may impact fellow neighbors, and the local county construction/zoning requirements.
Other areas that the ACC reviews and provides approvals for are specific to the type of home being built. They verify that the minimum required square footage is met and that homes being built near each other maintain variety in style and appearance to keep property values on a positive arc.
Please see the library of ACC documents below.
